This blog is really not meant to be a tech (geek) blog. But since I recently started using the Songbird multimedia application I was so impressed by it that I decided to write a little about it here.Songbird is built upon Mozilla.org platform. That means it is opensource, and as a sibling it shares a lot with Firefox browser and has many of the abilities of the latter. To put it short and not geeky you can run it on all big OSes like windows, os x and Linux. You can also choose and download from many addons (like Ipod-connection-plugin) to fit your desires. Songbird is in beta stage but It works pretty well. I do suggest you try it out. Ooh and one more thing, you can download your favorit music from this program for free. just do a search in "Birdhouse" for your favorite artist or song and then push download on the list of songs that appear.
